Stallion Training and Collections
As a fully approved A.I & DEFRA semen collection centre for EU expert & with DEFA approved A.I. Technicians on site, we offer a walk in semen collection service for stallions. This enables stallion owners who wish to compete their stallions, but do not have the facilities or simply do not want the hassle of covering to still use the stallion.
Types of service on offer:
Fresh Service: enables your clients mares to come to us, they will be monitored & set up on our veterinary package then we will arrange with you when to bring the stallion for collection and we’ll do the rest.
Chilled Service: Chilled service includes semen collection, all evaluation, paperwork & packaging for sending the semen overnight to your clients anywhere in the EU These stallion have to be kept on site due to the DEFRA health requirements for EU export.
Frozen Service : For the owner who wants to freeze semen from their stallion for sale in the UK, or EU, or as an ‘insurance’ against injury or death. We handle all of the collections, processing and storage.
Standing as a Walk in Stallion: these stallions stand under the Country Farm Stud banner & are promoted the same as our own stallions, with all paperwork etc done by us. For full information on this service contact Karen
Dummy Mare Training: Either bring the stallion at times convenient to you for training sessions or leave him with us for a few days.
Use our extensive facilities, excellent veterinary back up, trained staff & on site A.I. technicians to earn money from your stallion.

The advantages:
In using your stallion in this way he collects in a safe secure environment with no risk of injury from naturally covering mares
As he comes to us for collection he does not associate serving with his home environment therefore making the management of him easier at home
No hassle of having visiting mares at home or having to try mares

Terms & Conditions:
All stallions must have either an EVA negative blood test taken since Jan 1st of the current stud season or be EVA vaccinated and must have an up to date CEM swab certificate.
Both the passport and health certificates must accompany the stallion for collection.
Delivery charges are either payable at the time of collection or to be arranged by the stallion owner.
