I am the proud owner of Merlin P, bred by yourselves in 2005 out of Country Elegance by Spotswood Jafieca. I have only owned him since June this year and we have had a great summer out in the endurance field and doing some cross-country. We move to Wiltshire next week and hope to really come into our own as an endurance partnership for Wessex. I have attached some photo’s and wondered whether you had any of him as a baby, or any stories. He is such a wonderful horse with an amazing temperament and fabulous paces, and has grown to 15.3hh, so must take after his mother. He certainly looks just like her.
Kind Regards, Mrs Megan Welbourne Worpelsdon, Surrey

Hi,
I have some pictures of my 7 year old Tipsy Laird (Coggle) by Spotswood Jafeica. He is doing absolutely fab! In our first season eventing he has come 2nd at the Pony Club intermediate eventing championships and 5th in the intermediate showjumping Championships, been selected to represent Wales and Borders at the BE under 18 100cm championships and completed our first Novices!
We recently bought a pony called ‘Onespot Barclay’ and he is sired by Spotswood Jafeica and thought that you might like to see a picture of him.
Our plan is to do Working Hunter this season and hopefully qualify for the BSPS winter champs but my daughter’s dream is to event him. They are going to a clinic at Park End, Wark in February which is an introduction to eventing for 12-15 year olds and they will be taught by Charlotte Ridley. They jumped 65cm & 75cm yesterday at Greenlands EC and got 4 faults in the 65cm and 1st in the 75cm.
