Semen Freezing Prices 2011

Stallion livery per day:-
Over 14.2hh - £20 per day
Under 14.2hh - £18 per day

Fee per collection (Probably 3 to 4 times a week) - £75 plus VAT

Fee per equine insemination dose successfully frozen - £10 plus VAT
(Processing, Freezing and Examination)

The number of doses achieved from a single semen collection varies from stallion to stallion, and from day to day. Stallions usually produce between 7-10 insemination doses per ejaculate. We recommend that stallion owners allow three insemination doses for each mare to be bred.

Additional Costs to the stallion owner are, if applicable:-
(a) Insurance of the stallion
(b) Stallion transport to/from the collection Centre
(c) Health tests; owners will be advised of the necessary health tests and any quarantine period required, (these vary from UK to EU). When making a booking for their stallion
(d) Both routine and any emergency veterinary work
(e) Farriery
(f) Feed additives
(g) Any additional exercise other than turning out

0-30 equine insemination doses*   £10 plus VAT per month
31-60 equine insemination doses*  £15 plus VAT per month
61-150 equine insemination doses*  £20 plus VAT per month
151-250 equine insemination doses*  £25 plus VAT per month
251-350 equine insemination doses*  £30 plus VAT per month
351-500 equine insemination doses*  £35 plus VAT per month

* One equine insemination dose is the semen required to carry out one insemination. 
Prices are for one owner but may be for more than one stallion.
