School / College Liaison at Country Farm Stud

At the stud we have excellent educational facilities which enable us to offer a range of options to schools & colleges. we already work closely with Myerscough college for whom we deliver the Breeding modules for NC & ND as well as a large part of the Breeding module for Degree students.

14-16 year old Increased Flexibility Program

We are able to offer NVQ in Horse care qualifications through a one or two day release from school programme. Students study NVQ Level 1 in year 10 & then three Units from NVQ level 2 in year 11. We have had a very high success rate with this scheme with most pupils being offered an apprentice place on leaving school. One of our current Advanced apprentices who is now studying NVQ Level 3 started with us on this program.
